The Altar ATX is a new church in the west side of Austin led by Pastor Chris Tapken. We believe that when a church seeks God wholeheartedly, lives generously & follows Jesus faithfully, communities are changed.
We believe everything we have is ultimately a gift from God, and generosity is one of the ways we reflect His heart. We give our time, resources, gifts & lives because we’ve experienced the generosity of Jesus ourselves.
